Dr Angelique Green MD
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Angelique Green, M.D, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a subspecialty in diabetes. She graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of California, Davis,
with a Residency and Fellowship training at UCSF. Dr. Green has spent much of her career supporting the community health space as well as in academic settings, with clinical teaching and health education being some of her main passions. She has also carried leadership roles in multiple health plan settings such as United Health Care, Aetna, and Brown & Toland. She has dedicated her entire career to promoting programs and policy to reduce health disparities and to improve outcomes for low-income communities. In her free time, she is a mom of three and she keeps fit as a hip hop dancer, instructor, and choreographer.
Dr. Green is excited and honored to step into the CMO role at Baywell Health as it aligns with her personal goals and passion for providing exceptional health services to the communities Baywell Health serves.

Dr. Vanessa Grubbs is a double board-certified nephrologist and internist, writer, activist, and kidney donor. In addition to her role as a primary care physician at Baywell Health, she is the Founder & President of Black Doc Village, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the inequitable dismissal of Black resident physicians through research and policy change.

Dr. Yvette Gentry, MD is an obstetrics & gynecology specialist in Oakland, CA with over 32 years of experience in the medical field. Her interest lies in alternatives to hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and fibroid management while continuing to provide comprehensive prenatal care and supporting patients’ desires to have a minimal intervention natural birth experience. She graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine in 1991.

Dr. Bean is pediatrician and an Oakland native. He graduated from Claremont Men’s College with degrees in Biochemistry and Philosophy prior to matriculating to medical school at the UC San Diego School of Medicine where he completed his residency. He completed pediatric training programs at UC San Francisco/Children’s Hospital-San Francisco. He earned a Master of Public Health degree (M.P.H.) at the UCLA School of Public Health. He also earned an M.B.A. from the California State University-Hayward. Dr. Bean is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves on the Clinical Faculty at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine. He is married and father of three adult children.

Dr. Lasha Pierce is a West Oakland, Ca native and has served the Oakland community for two decades. She has a B.S in Physiology, San Francisco State University, and medical degree from the University of California at Irvine. Dr. Pierce completed her residency in Obstetrics in Gynecology at Kaiser San Francisco and received midwifery training from community midwives in the Bay area. She is dedicated to improving healthcare quality, patient safety and eliminating healthcare disparities. She is married, the second of seven children and mother to three adult human beings. She has provided care for incarcerated women at various jails in California.
